We children of arab immigrands do not speak well the language and in several cases – like mine – cannot read&write it. We also have some trouble with different dialects so English is best. Hurreh.

I am a retired scientist. I have got an on line dictionary Arabic – English based on Buckwalter. You can translate things (both directions) by looking up every word, and selecting the right context. It looks up what it sees, no nonsense about Israelis being killed by Palestinians when it is the other way round.

I am a mathematician and what I need is someone with experience of interfaces, such as Google’s Native Client. A touch screen will enable rapid translations. The formula for common salt is NaCl. We could call the product Mali or something!

Good concept. Congratulations!

I support the idea of an English site as this has a greater outreach then an Arabic site. And English is so widely spoken in the Arabic world, so I don't see a problem. We did so far the same decision with our Palestinian website with classifieds, information and events.

Anyhow: Would it be possible to mention our website in your Blog?

This is great work!! ME internet market is really picking up and you guys are helping by allowing for outsiders to assess the maturity of it.
I had a question related to internet merchant gateway, essentially building an ecommerce site in the ME that is able to charge credit cards in local currency rather than USD (and currency translations etc etc)
