Turkish Based CIAmedia Caller Identfication App – Kim Ariyor? – Tops Seven Million Downloads on Android and iPhone devices
Mobile advertising technology company, who has an odd name CIAmedia today announced that its free caller identification app, Kim Ariyor? has already topped seven million downloads achieving number one ranking in both Google Play (Android) and the iPhone App Store in the Utility category and making it the most popular caller identification app in Turkey.
Competing with hugely popular mobile games and social media apps, Kim Ariyor? also ranks extremely well against all free apps, currently sitting at position 13 (App Store) and 18 (Google Play) and has achieved a highly valued four star customer rating in both app stores.
Proving that Turkish mobile consumers value their privacy and mobile functionality, Kim Ariyor? allows users to identify whoever is calling them (from outside their personal contacts) and to block unwanted calls from telemarketers for example. It also allows users to save and back-up their contacts which consumers find useful when switching phones, in particular from one mobile operating system to another.
Moreover, the free app helps consumers reach the businesses and services that they want by automatically suggesting alternative merchants nearby when a call goes unanswered. Typically restaurants, banks, insurances, car dealers, consumer electronics stores, DIY stores, taxis, sports and fashion retailers, and medical doctors are bad at picking up the phone. Once a call is completed the user is also prompted to rate and review the quality of their experience, providing useful feedback to other users on the businesses that they routinely interact with.
Claudia Dreier-Poepperl, CEO and founder at CIAmedia said: “Achieving seven million plus downloads and 4star ratings in both app stores really shows how Turkish mobile consumers value their privacy and also how sophisticated they are as mobile consumers.”
“With up to 40 per cent of business calls going unanswered, the CIAmedia app also represents a way for merchants and businesses to reach mobile consumers by suggesting alternative contact numbers or displaying adverts and offers that benefit the consumer right at the moment of need.”
