Yahoo Maktoob launches mobile digital content services in Egypt for Mobinil users
As part of its ongoing efforts to provide users with relevant local content across platforms, Yahoo Maktoob has teamed up with Mobinil to provide users in Egypt with mobile services and the best Yahoo Maktoob digital content via subscription services.
Yahoo Maktoob is committed to providing users with the latest digital content while on the go. Through this partnership, Yahoo Maktoob will offer Mobinil’s customer base of over 33 million subscribers a rich array of original Yahoo Maktoob video productions such as the acclaimed Helmy Online comedy show, and popular series including Fasateen, Nossy El Helw, and Beit Omaima. In addition, a range of exciting daily text alerts services will also be offered including OMG! (entertainment and celebrity news), Helwa (women lifestyle content on beauty and relationships), Yahoo Maktoob News (breaking news) and Yahoo Maktoob Sports. The content will be provided via VictoryLink, a VAS aggregator in the Egyptian market. Subscription to the service is optional – users can easily opt in or out of the Yahoo Maktoob content services via SMS at anytime.
