Egyptian government to enable Internet connectivity in 500 busses next year

The Egyptian government plans to get 500 busses internet connectivity via WIFI in 2014.
Minister of telecommunications of Egypt Afit Helmi has said that the government is negotiating with a number of companies to provide the solution among them is Alcatel.
Helmi also said that the busses will work using natural gas and that the service will be optional for passengers and won’t be added to the bus ticket unless the passenger asks for it.
He also added that the busses will be used in carrying out commercials and would be environment friendly.
