Jeeran expands in Saudi Arabia with more than 150 thousand places in 15 cities
Jeeran’s growth and focus on local content resulted in bringing over 150 thousand businesses to the online world in more than 15 cities around Saudi Arabia.
Realizing the importance of providing information “On-the-go”, Jeeran recently released a more advanced version of its popular apps for iPhone and Android phones which allow users to sign up using Facebook and Twitter accounts. The latest version provides users with the ability to search, browse, review and add places and photos, as well as find nearest places and share further data points such as price range, payment method, and even parking availability.
Jeeran provides detailed information to the users; such as phone numbers, locations, maps, in addition to working hours, while navigating through more than 20 different categories such as restaurants with their various cuisines, doctors of different specialties, shopping stores, gyms, service providers, beauty centers, schools, and many more. People will also notice stickers on places across the city reminding customers to review and rate the service is placed on the front door of these places. Doaa Awaysheheh, Heading the Community Department at Jeeran said “” We really believe in the power of local content to enrich lives. There are local meetups of Jeeran users consisting of the most active users, who are considered as a trusted source of information. They meet on regular basis with the community manager in one of the local places in their city. Users with the most useful contributions are rewarded with the “Elite” title.
