Umniah provides its subscribers with classical Arabic content by partnering with “Istikana”

Umniah has recently signed a strategic partnership agreement with “Istikana” the specialized website in reviving well known television series, movies, in addition to classical Arabic animated shows.

This partnership provides Umniah’s 3G subscribers the way to access this Arabic website by visiting fun.umniah.com. The site is suitable for all ages which will add a distinguished feature to Umniah’s internet content that is offered to its subscriberse specially after launching its latest communication network based on the technology of the third generation under the name of EVO. The content from Istikana will be available to all EVO subscribers via Smartphones and computers without deducting from their loading capacity.

“Istikana” is the first Arabic Jordanian website that includes a wide variety of videos focusing on classical Arabic productions and animations from the eighties and nineties.

Commenting on this partnership, Umniah’s CEO Ihab Hinnawi said: “submitting and increasing the Arabic and local online content to our subscribers through mobile phones or the internet has been our priority since our inception as we believe that providing written, visual, and audio Arabic content is a critical factor that contributes in increasing the Internet usage in the Kingdom, which is a national goal that we and the government are working on to promote a culture of economical knowledge.”

Hinnawi added: “we partnered with “Istikana” as it is considered one of the best and most powerful internet projects providing desirable and entertaining content to all the society segments and has become an encyclopedia for the classical Arabic series, animations, and shows that are hard to find using the traditional methods.”
