Facebook Starts Censoring Osama Bin Ladin and Che Guevara Images

2 Jan, 2013

Osama Bin Ladin and Che Guevara on facebook
It is official Facebook is not a free speech platform, the company has put it self on the side of the American government in defining things, organizations and people.

One facebook users posted an image of Osama Bin Ladin and Che Guevara to get facebook delete the image and block him from posting on facebook for 1 day with a warning of revoking his account if this action is repeated

here is the message the user got:

“We removed the following content you posted or were the admin of because it violates Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities”
facebook warning

On facebook community standard it says “Organizations with a record of terrorist or violent criminal activity are not allowed to maintain a presence on our site. We also prohibit promoting, planning or celebrating any of your actions if they have, or could, result in financial harm to others, including theft and vandalism.”

So who is facebook to decide that Osama Bin Ladin and Guevara are terrorist? They both fought American tyranny but what is different between them is one of them believes in one God who the only one worthy of worship while the other is atheist.

The term terrorist is controversial, if it means is targeting civilians and killing women and children then Bush Obama, Netanyahu and Bashar Al Asad deserve the gold medal in terrorism for killing millions of Muslims. As such and like wise users should be banned from posting their images or promoting their stands on facebook.

But faceboook is having a bland eye on their US and Israeli government terrorism and taking the side of the American government point of view about what is terrorism ( anyone who fights or even challenge US/Israeli tyranny and occupation and raises the banner of Islam)

Osama Bin Ladin once said that his terrorism is a blessed type of terrorism to end American unjust terrorism which killed 1 million child in Iraq occupied the Muslim world directly or indirectly via poppet regimes and gave unlimited support to “Israel” which occupies Palestine and keeps stealing Palestinian land and killing their children not to mention the suffering non Muslims faced from American conspiracies in Latin America and Africa.

Last month facebook decided to censor the page of Jabhat Al Nusra a revolutionary group in Syria that is fighting the brutal regime of Bashar Al Asad who killed 50 000 Syrian civilians including women and children . Jabhat AL Nusra never targeted any single American or civilian so why the ban it came after the American government decided to designate Jabhat LA Nusra as a terrorist organization!

We will contact facebook to get their point of view regarding censorship and free speech.

Facebook is a place for friends to share beautiful discussions and not a place for resolving political conflicts. I totally agree with Facebook for blocking this type of content as I do not want to see such content there.

What you are saying Achraf is not true facebook is a place for everything, people discus everything on facebook: politics, life, religion, revolution, business tech you name it. there pages on facebook for everything. Censorship is bad. I ask you, why do not facebook block draw Mohamed day page? which is a direct insults to the feelings of 2 billion Muslims? they say free speech where is free speech when it comes to Osama and Islam? why do not they block Obama, Bush netnyaho and basahar Al asad they are the leaders of International terrorism.

Why some Arabs are stupid? and hate them selves so much!
