6th edition of MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Business Plan competition kicked off with tracks for startups and ideas

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Enterprise Forum of the Pan Arab Region officially launch the sixth MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Startup Competition, in partnership with Abdul Latif Jameel Community Initiatives (ALJ) and hosted by Oasis 500.

Founded in 2006, the aim of the MIT Enterprise Forum is to develop and nurture a culture of entrepreneurship across the Arab region by providing a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, showcasing new concepts, and the coaching and mentorship of the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The competition for this year includes 2 tracks: startups track and idea track. Entrepreneurs can apply via www.mitarabcompetition.com, submission will be closed after selecting 50 semi-finalists.

The competition offers first prize winners $50,000 second prize $10,000 third prize $5,000 and best female entrepreneur $15,000. beside cash rewards the competition also offers mentorship and coaching for successful applicants.
