Iran wants to sue Google over dropping Persian Gulf name on Google maps

17 May, 2012

Tehran has said it will sue Google over dropping the name of the Persian Gulf on Google Maps. If Google does not restore the name of the Persian Gulf, it will face “serious damages,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said, as cited by AP. The famous search engine earlier left the body of water between Iran and the Arabian Peninsula nameless on its online map service. Tehran has already warned Google of possible legal action, Mehmanparast said. Iranians has had tensions with some Arab states which insist on calling the body of water the Arabian Gulf.

    SO
can you image if some country have political problem with another, want to change historical international constant geographic or historical name and disregard national pride of that nation or disregard historical memory of the world,….

    SO
each 30 or 40 years most of the international name of the world map should be changed……………

    SO you expect to hear:

    Arabic Saudi instead USA !!!!!
    Ireland instead England !!!!!
England instead Argentina or Scotland !!!!!
    Moogle instead google
    Yahoo map instead google map
    Moogle earth instead google earth
Adolf Hitler instead John F Kennedy !!!!!
Osama bin Laden instead George Washington !!!!!
Ariel Sharon instead Abraham Lincoln !!!!!
Jorge wc bosh instead Barrack Obama !!!!!
    Afghanistan instead Iraq
    Russia instead Georgia
    Japan instead Korea
    Serbia instead Croatia

And if you expert IT engineering do this mistake voluntary and intentional,
SO nearly you expect to hear:

    American gulf instead Mexican gulf
Sea of Okhotsk instead gulf of Alaska
    African ocean instead Indian ocean
    Arab sea instead Red sea
    Iran sea instead Oman sea
Gulf of Somalia instead Gulf of Aden
Gulf of Malaysia instead gulf of Thailand
    Timor sea instead Tasman sea
    Philippine sea instead Chain sea
