launches 3alaTV a TV guide website for the Arab region

9 Aug, 2011, one of the Arab region oldest mobile service application provider in the Middle East, has announced the recent launch of 3ala TV ( means on TV), a specially-designed interactive TV guide website – for users to find selected TV channel schedules and information about their favorite shows and actors. Users can also sign in the website for the latest news, read blogs and also participate in live forums.

Moreover, users can also create their own pages and select their favourite actors or TV programs, while also being able to add friends, who are already registered on this website, to their page.
The site competes with Jordan based IV Holdings funded startup ShooFeeTV. Having a quick look at 3alaTV, you find that ShooFeeTV is richer with information about programs and TV channels.
