Prince Alwaleed Meets Google’s Chairman Schmidt, Discuss Possible Business Cooperation
Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) met with Eric Schmidt Executive Chairman of Google at the George V hotel, Paris.
According to a press release from KHC, AlWaleed and Schmidt discussed business and economic issues. The two also discussed Prince Alwaleed’s investments in the US in light of being the largest foreign investor there. Also, on the agenda of discussions was future potential business cooperation between KHC and Google in the technology field.
The meeting was attended by Jamal Khashoggi, General Manager of Prince Alwaleed’s new news channel, Heba Fatani, Senior Executive Manager, Corporate Communications Department and Dr. Khaled Almansour Advisor to prince.
Prince AlWaleed is the second largest shareholder in News Corp and also the beneficial owner of approximately 7 percent of News Corporation’s Class B Common Stock.
