MIT Arab Business Plan Competition Announces Top 12 Finalist Teams
MIT Arab Business Plan competition which organize a yearly business plan competition for Arab startups has announced round 3 finalists.
12 teams from 30 semi-finalist teams hat qualified for Round 3. The 12 teams will fly to Tunisia and attend a coaching session with Booz & Co. guiding them through how to better perform in oral presentations and pitch their ideas in front of investors. The final award ceremony will be taking place in Tunisia on Friday, June 17. The 3 winning teams will receive up to $65,000 in prize money to help them take their business to the next level.

I am genuinly happy to see new tech competitions and startups in the arab world. But we are still to see the outcome. Investors are still not doing their part of the deal. No funding, no talent acquisition, no new markets
Arab startups are doomed to stay small local players. Hope this will change one day.
