Libya Blocks Facebook, Twitter and Aljazeera.net
As anti government demonstrations rage in Libya, according to Aljazeera news channel Libyan authorities have blocked Facebook and Twitter in the capital Tripoli.
Calls to Libyans for a day of anger against the regime has been spreading throughout Facebook, Aljazeera also reported that its Arabic site Aljazeera.net has been blocked all over the country.
Same technique was used before by the Egyptian regime of Husni Mubarak, before it met the dust. Libya borders both Egypt and Tunisia who’s regimes were changed by popular revolutions. ArabCrunch could not verify Aljazeera’s news report.
