Mossad Announced Phony Telecom Jobs Targeting Syrians, Egyptians and Lebanese As a Decoy for Espionage Recruitment

29 Dec, 2010

The recently announced Egyptian Mossad Agent Tariq Abdel Razaq Hassan reveled that the Mossad revealed that he used several websites to announce phony telecom jobs targeting Syrian and Lebanese in order to recruit them to join the Mossad.

According to Egyptian newspaper Alyoum Alsabe , Tariq Abdel Razaq Hassan said he joined the Mossad via his request online, as after he saw an ad online to make money he clicked on it and it redirected him into the Mossad website where he sent him and email asking for a “job.”

If this news shows anything, it is that the Internet has become instrumental not in Mossad operations around the world but also in recruitment and propaganda. Another aspect is that Tariq is not highly educated, intelligence experts note that Mossad and the CIA focus in recruitment is not only on high assets such as politicians, businessmen, and the Media, the Mossad would recruit anyone educated, or not educated, connected or not connected.
