Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer To Speak at Microsoft Open Doors in Riyadh, KSA Next Month

The Arab world is one of Microsoft strong holds, the education system is Microsoft centric while open source solutions has very little presence, if any .

As for companies that develop software, Microsoft technologies are the most used, in governments Microsoft products are the mains choice for many. If they were not selected then the choice will be from propriety software from the likes of Oracle, SAP.

In USA and Europe, the winds of open source change arrived long ago. So Microsoft is investing more to keep its stronghold, strong.

In that strategy Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is coming him self to speak at Microsoft OpenDoor’06 in Saudi Arabia for IT Professionals to engage IT professionals. the event will be held in riyadh and Jeddah, Balmer will be speaking in riyadh Tuesday, 2nd November, 2010 at 9:30 am at the Four Seasons Hotel where the event will be held.
