Beladcom to Launch Virtual World For the Arab Wold in Partnership with MindArk

Jordanian game developer Beladcom recently signed a mutual cooperation agreement with Swedish software company MindArk to create an online virtual world in Mindark’s Entropia Universe.

Beladcom will be launching the first online virtual environment with what they say its content  will be specifically tailored toward Arab audiences. The  startup is building within MindArk’s platform to create a virtual gaming environment with entertainment, social networking, and work simulation and learning tools.

The Entropia Universe is a 3D online virtual universe with its own dynamic planetary systems. The universe is segmented into individual planets partners, each offering a experience geared toward a given target audience. Beladcom is developing its world via the partnership model for the platform.

The business model that Mindark follows is giving platform and hosting for partners, who offers in return concept, content ,support and marketing and both share revenues .

The new world will have real cash economy with an in-game currency that can be purchased and redeemed back into real world funds. User are required to download a client program for free. We do not know how Beladcom world will look like as it was not mentioned in the press release we got.
