Former Google MENA Marketing Manager Nagi Salloum Launches Social Sharing Tool, Loomn.it
Former regional marketing manager for Google in MENA Nagi Salloum launched today his new startup Loomn.it (pronounced Loomnit, ArabCrunch.NET profile) a new service that provides users with a simple way to share with anyone and across any platform, links, email address, images, video, documents (up to 3MB) and other digital content.
The idea is providing a short link to any shared item, say a long Tweet, just upload hit loomin.it and then you get a short link that you can customize and share on facebook, Twitter or anywhere in the web.
The nice part of the service that it takes away the hassle of registration and using email, ”Loomn.it is ideal for those moments when users want to share stuff quickly with their friends without the hassle of using their email.” said Salloum. However the downside is that all content will be automatically deleted 14 days after link is created.
Some of Loomn.it services compete with Bit.ly and other URL shorteners and with Jordanian startup YouConvertit in the file sending feature.
Salloum is from Lebanon but currently living in Dubai, he is also CO-Founder of other websites such as Cineklik a movie and cinema guide for Lebanon, Ahlein.net a real estate finder for Lebanon, and Yoolki.com a latin to Arabic transliterator that competes with Google Ta3reeb and Yamli.
Share and Enjoy
