11 Jun, 2010

In what appears as a coordinated attacks following the wave of attacks against American Pizza Chain Pizza Hut and some Egyptian government websites, a massive hacking attacks have struck over 50 websites that ends of co.il the domain name used for “Israeli” websites. The attacks sounds like a DNS type of attacks.

The following Microsoft sites has been reported hacked as of yesterday but has been restored:

The attacker left a message on Microsoft .co.il sites in what apears he is Turkish the messge said:

“Free Palestine”

Hi to greatest son of the b—– of the world (i mean all the Jews).
u think one day u will own all the world eh? lol
that makes me laugh. that makes all the world laugh. u are just insects. make muslims angrier and just sit and watch what will happen to you.
Greetz to : Pakbugs Group Produced By TurkGuvenligi Tayfa From Turkey with love!”

Pakbugs Group has the same name of a forum Google Morocco domain hackers used last year to celebrate the event.

As for CocaCola http://coca-cola.co.il/ is still down as of 4:15 am GTM http://www.coca-cola.co.il/ is up and running

http://www.bebo.co.il/ which seems not related to AOL’s social network bebo is still down.( June 12 2010: it is up again.)

Popular gaming sites http://travian.co.il/ reported hacked but looks ok now.

Other hacked Israeli websites has messges such as this one:

Many of the Israeli sites just have an empty page and many of them seem to be back to normal operations again.

These attacks seem driven over Israeli commando attacks on Flotilla aid ships to Gaza which killed Turkish citizens.

1-more “Israeli” sites being hacked today  like this one bigger list here.

2- bebo.co.il is not related to Bebo of AOL and it is up again. (June 12 2010: it is up again.)
