Yahoo! Middle East Launches New Offices in Amman and Dubai

Yahoo! Middle East has today announced the official opening of its new offices in Dubai, UAE and Amman, Jordan. Rich Riley, who joined 1999 when Yahoo! acquired the start up company he co-founded and serve as the Senior Vice President & Managing Director, Yahoo! in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) has travelled to the region in order to host the official inauguration of both sites.

The offices both offer a spacious and fun environment providing staff with nice facilities such as table tennis, foosball, Wii, a café with TV and Sat connection, as well as refreshment machines and kitchen facilities.

Yahoo has been expanding its staff  in the Arab region as they hired recently many people from mid level to executive level.

As ArabCrunch first broke, Yahoo! Middle East acquired, the leading online community in the Arab world, with more than 19 million unique users, in August 2009.

This acquisition sparked fire to the Arab Internet and tech industry, as now Investors see the exist window wide open to home grown startups, new startups are emerging almost on a weekly bases, new VCs and accelerators are being started and about to launch as ArabCrunch will report soon.

    I love it, fascinating … However it should reflect on productivity anyway … I bet that employees now sleep early to wake up early and go to office quickly 🙂 That’s so inspiring, particularly for the creatives … Editors, and yeah developers too … Fantastic Samih and Hussam, look at the happiness you gave to hundreds of people because of your success … Cooool

    Hey I am very impressed with the office it looks beautiful and I’m glad Amman is getting some attention from the big companies like Yahoo, I would be very interesting in taking a closer look, can you please let me know how I can do this?

    I have a yahoo account for more than Ten years, y-day unfortunetly I dioscovered that my yahoo account had been hacked.
    To day I changed my yahoo password and when I checked my yahoo account
    I found all my contents had been lost.
    I have some important personal documents, in my Folders, Contacts etc, can
