Nokia Launches Nokia 5235 The Second Comes With Music Device But with No WLAN?

19 May, 2010

Nokia announced the arrival of its newest device featuring the Comes with Music service to the Middle East: the Nokia 5235 Comes with Music.

Nokia launched Nokia X6 Comes with Music edition for the Arab region in February, as the only device that support’s Nokia Comes with Music offerings, which is somehow the iTunes store for the Arab world. ( we will provide video review of x6 soon.)

Comes with Music offers around unlimited access to around four million tracks, for free and for 12 months,  when users buy the Comes with Music edition device, songs can be download from the Ovi Music. Comes with Music songs can be used on a PC and have to expiry date.

But the Nokia 5235 has a major problem as it does not have Wireless LAN ( i did not see that option at the official device specs page at Nokia’s website? so how can users download songs? via 3G as the devices supports 3G (HSDPA)?

Nokia 5235 is 3.2” in size and has an average touch screen smart phone features with a resistive touch screen, internal memory of 320 MB and microSD, up to 16GB and uses Symbian OS v9.4, Series 60 rel. 5 with a ARM 11 434 MHz processor and GPS tiny 2 megapixel camera.

The device also comes with preloaded Ovi maps with Free turn-by-turn voice instructions and detailed city guides. Nokia says the device can play music for 33 hours after only one charge.
