But we still do not know why #flotilla was censored.
After the news broke today of the Israeli forces attacking flotilla an aid-carrying ships aiming to break the country’s siege on Gaza killing over 10 people and dozens injured , thousands of Twitter users flooded Twitter with angry Tweets with the hashtag #flotilla and #gaza (more than 200 Tweet per second.)
However until this moment #flotilla and #gaza did not become a trending topic, which made many users wonder if Twitter is censoring certain topics from trending and keeping #israil trends.

It does seem there is something wrong, I am getting this msg. for the past 2 hours when trying to see #flotilla posts:
