Live: President Obama’s Speech-Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship

26 Apr, 2010

Sitting here waiting for President Obama to come on stage, room is completely full of delegates, press, and secret service..

Obama is here, welcoming the Delegates to the US.

Obama says: “too often, the relationship between the US and muslim countries has been one of mistrust…that is why I went to Cairo almost one year ago…to start a new beginning”.

“As long as I am President, the United States will not waver in our support of a two-state solution”

Obama singled out Dr. Mutaba of Kuwait for his comic books with superheroes embodying the teachings of Islam – since Cairo he has added Superman and Batman reaching out to their Muslim counterparts.

Why a Summit on Entrepreneurship? Because we (the Muslims) said that this is an area we can learn from the US. Entrepreneurship is the most powerful force to bring people out of poverty, and is in mutual interest of both countries.

Incredible talents of women entrepreneurs: Sheikha Hanadi, Waed al Taweel, Tri Mumpuni – countries that promote women’s development will develop fastest.

So much clapping – every sentence is clapped by the audience.

Tonight: a series of new partnerships: new exchange programs, bringing business and social entrepreneurs to US, and send American counterparts to learn from Muslim countries. New exchanges for science teachers, incubators, business and social leaders. Events all over Washington this week, all over the world.

Global Technology and Innovation Fund (GTIF) will mobilize more than $2 billion in investment. – This is private capital, dedicated to promoting Muslim country entrepreneurship.

Next Entrepreneurship Summit: hosted by Prime Minister Erdogan, in Turkey.

The spirit of entrepreneurship: an idea starting with a single person changes the world – Mohammad Yunus and microfinance.

“May God’s peace be upon you all” Ends with a standing ovation – people are still standing!

Obama “The spirit of entrepreneurship: an idea starting with a single person changes the world – Mohammad Yunus and microfinance.”

The spirit of free Muslims start with an idea, Muslims are not sand nigros, give us our freedom and take your troops from our land, before the entrepreneurship bullshit talk!

Pls take the political talk elsewhere plz; this is a tech blog dedicated to developing entrepreneurship, not debating foreign policy. Salam.

Excuse me Roham but this summit is 100% political as it is hosted by the US government.

the whole thing is a propaganda stunt by the US government as its using economic intensive to fight the ideology of freedom loving Muslims who just want to be free from US government occupation and involvement in every aspect of their life.

Obama you know the facts “US and Muslim countries has been one of mistrust” because your government killed around 2 million Muslims in Iraq since 1991, not to count the rape and other crimes from Indonesia to morocco.

Obama what Muslims are facing is not what black brothers faced in USA before, it is worse a Holocaust with all its meaning, please stop it and give them their freedom!

You’re right, of course there’s a political aspect to it. But I’m not American, and nor are 75% of people here. They are from Palestine, Jordan, Saudi, Uganda, Indonesia, etc. And they want to make a difference in their countries back home.

You’re also talking about the Iraq war, which was started by George Bush and his dad. You do agree that if the US leaves Iraq without stabilizing the country, the civil war will end up killing more people, right?

Roham, it seems that global media controlled by the Zionist lobby made you get the wrong info,

Clinton under his 8 years -who is a also democrat kept the sanctions that killed 1 million iraqi babies.

stabilizing the country? the civil war started by USA in iraq they brought the Shia militia from Iran, USA has a secret agreement with Iran in that regrade.. how do you explain a military militia from Iran like the higher counsel being in power over night, those sheeat militia who also along with US forces and US mercenary forces and committed very bad crimes in Iraq against mainly the suni. not saying here that all Shia are criminals.

So basically those who killed 2 million Muslims in Iraq can not talk about “we are doing “good” and want to stabilize the country!” for 7 years now! right?

if you followed the history of the Muslim world since the collapse of Khilafa, you see that whiteman colonial countries did not leave any Muslim country unless they have their agents in command and under their control.

So if US government leaves Iraq the nasty circle will keep going and Muslims will be slaves via a local agent for another 100 years!

US crimes does not end in Iraq, in Afghanstan thousands of people died by US troops, In Sudan, in Somalia, Yeman and everywhere.

    Not to mention Palestine!!

there are stories of people who suffered in ways no human can imagine in his/her life, there are stories of men, woman in dark prison CIA FBI run cells you do not know about ….. Obama told the world about some of the secrets

US government controls every Muslim government they order and they follow, no Muslim country has any real Independence and if anyone dares to be free, they will meet what iraq has met!

so for those people over there going to this event most of them are not entrepreneurs but rather a new proxy mercenaries! who came to execute the new US agenda to fight freedome loving people who wanst to be slaves to God rather than USA.

Obama is the only one who can bring real change ( not bullshit entrepreneurship talk) and give Muslims real freedom, he wants to do so, but the forces of darkness ( white-man racist and the Zionist lobbies) in USA will turn him into a new Kandy.

According to a recent poll, only 82% of Democrats would re-elect Barack Obama if they could vote today. They voted for hope and ended up with change.

  9. R  |  June 9th, 2011 at 8:35 PM #

    Leshawn,
82% is quite high when it comes to polls. Obama is still very popular believe it or not. But to be honest, you know as well as anyone that the president does not control everything – the political system is much bigger and more permanent than one person- or one party.
