iDescribe Used by 2 Million Facebookers to Describe their Facebook Friends in 5 Words
Facebook is now #1 most visited site in USA ahead of Google. The social network has over 400 million people and most probably you are one of them.
The major traction facebook offers to all of us, is keeping us connected in a clean way with our friends, the third party applications adds another layer of usefulness. But iDescribe is a fun and a useful utility application that has attracted 2 million users and 312,088 monthly active users, including 47 of my facebook friends.
The app is straight forward, it has a pre defined descriptions that you choose 5 of them to describe your friends.
The secret behind the massive growth the app got, is because of the creative viral growth techniques installed by its Jordanian founder Yazeed Al Oyoun as when you install the app it asks you to describe your friends, which in turn it will invite them to use the app, and when you request your friends to describe you it will also invite them to join the loop. Another factor many facebook developers missed, is that iDescribe was able to readapt as facebook changed its APIs policy.

Its easy to use. and its fun to know what others think of you, and how would they describe you! been using this application since almost 3 years!
I would like to add that this is one of the silent applications, it never bugged me with the notifications or other unneeded notifications to let me access the application.
