Anas Abbar, Microsoft’s Senior Director Developer Joins Yahoo! Middle East

Yahoo! Middle East recently announced the appointment of Anas Abbar as Head of Product and Product Marketing Management for the organisation responsible for Yahoo! global and regional products in the region. This was announced while I was on ArabNet conference and Anas sets next to me.

Anas Abbar played a major role in enabling technologies to support the Arabic language; he was one of the key contributors of enabling Arabic language on the Microsoft platform. With 18 years of experience, Anas Abbar developed vast experience with global and emerging market responsibilities, focusing on program management, localization, product management and business development.
