The Winner The First ArabCrunch Twitter 100 $ Contest- #ArabCrunch24.

As a thank you to our loyal readers we launched our first twitter contest, celebrating the #24 worldwide blog rank ArabCrunch achieved in 2009 under the hashtag label of #ArabCrunch24.

And today I am glad to announce the winner of first ArabCrunch Twitter contest  is Nouha Mahmoud (ArabCrunch.NET profile @nohaMahmoud, who was selected randomly from the 149 RTweets the post received.

Noha works as a software developer and research assistant at Nile University in ‪Management of Technology (MOT) Program‬.

As per the terms of the contest ,  the winner should choose a book, a software or an iPhone app.

Nouha choose to buy the following books from Amazon:

And today she received from us Amazon 100 USD gift card that is why the announcement was delayed but in the futrue we will announce things quickly.

How did she win? we tweeted asking followers to choose a number from 1 to 10 Ibrahim Manna Co-Founder of Wheels Express was first to Tweet and choose the number 2, so the second person who appeared on Twitter search using #ArabCrunch24 REtweet the post which was Nouha.

    Really excited and overwhelmed with this news :), I just re-tweeted the tweet because I believe that AC is doing a great job. For me I knew about startups and entrepreneurs in the Arab region which i never heard of. One last thing, I removed the cook book from the books list and replaced it with “Jack: Straight from the Gut by Jack Welch” as I thought it is more interesting than the cook book 😀

    Finally the books arrived, the shipment took soo much time to reach Egypt (Amazon needs to reconsider its shipment dealers outside US :))
