iPad Geeks: Vimov Enables Developers to Develop Multi Touch Apps Before the iPad is Even Released
It is still 6 weeks till you can an iPad, but as developers rush to develop an iPad app it would be great -if you are one of them- to have the full features of the iPad up and running in your app and fully tested.
iPad SDK has multi touch up to 5 fingers Accelerometer, Compass or GPS, but since you do not have an iPad, you can not use them on testing since will be using the pointer.
Now when you have iSimulate installed on you iPhones or iPod however, your multi-touches on the iPhone (which gets interpolated for the larger iPad screen), the movement recorded by the accelerometer, the location and orientation captured by the GPS and Compass, all get wirelessly sent to the iPad Simulator, so you can develop virtually any application they want, before the iPad is itself released!
“You -just- need to install iSimulate on your iPhone, add a library in your iPad project” said Amr Ramadan General Manager Vimov.
