vimov logoFounded in Alexandria, Egypt in 2007 vimov ( Vimov on ArabCurnch.NET) is another example of the startup that mixx its business between developing software for others (out sourcing) developing open source software and proprietary software.

For developers:

aviatevimov has started its own product releases with “aviate” : a free software to help developer deploy their software from “localhost” PC to the server, providing a number of features that makes life a bet easier for developers such as: file synchronization to the server over SSH and FTP and version control system. ( full list of features can be found here.)

iSimulateIn the iPhone front for developer, vimov’s provide an application/library called iSimulate” to solve the issue of not being able to use multi-touch and the accelerometer in the iPhone Simulator. iSimulate wirelessly sends multi-touch events, the accelerometer and compass events, and the GPS location to the iPhone Simulator. Providing speed to test before deployment and offers the ability to record high quality videos for your iPhone app. Available at the iPhone app store iSimulate costs 15,99 USD

For non developers vimov offers through the app store “exorcist” an iPhone game that uses many of the powerful features of the iPhone and costs 1.99 USD.

Here are 2 videos for exorcist and iSimulate:
