I have been using Woopra for 3 weeks, but I suffer from disconnection. I think that because I have downloaded the oldest software (version). But after trying this cuty:

I never go back to other solutions. Has segmentation, actions and amazing custom reports.

Thanks for updating the Woopra information. For two years, we've offered free access for our beta testers, with more than 85,000 helping us improve Woopra. We've always said that there would be a paid version and it took us a LONG time to figure out how to price it to be very affordable while still supporting the company and ongoing development. We're stunned at how many people tell us that they want to pay for Woopra NOW, even offering pre-payments - incredible support!

We've had such an amazing response in the past few days to our announcement of closing the beta testing period and discussing our options in pricing plans, we've extended the beta test period to allow more people to sign up and give Woopra a test, and continue to use it free once we convert to the new free and paid plans. After we close, access will be by invitation only for free versions.

Thank you for your support and for spreading the word. We are so proud of our Woopra community and thrilled that they are excited about what we are doing.

I'm one of those free Woopra users and I will be more than happy to switch to a paid account. The service is more than worth it!

i love woopra i use it a lot, but i have to be objective and not just provide news with no at least a little bet of analysis, yes woopra to me is better than get clicky, but also getclicky has a realtime ajax based tracking but for paid accounts. Though desktop tracking from woopra is better to the multi tabbed users, i believe.

woopra's price plan is drafted and it was smart to draft them in order to get feedback from the community. i suggest some tweaking. and one thing to ask if a blogger has google Ad Sense is he considered a commercial account? even though if he does not make much money out of it. if he is considered commercial would he still use the service since he has to pay?

Take into account that active bloggers are hard workers and sometimes need help from the community to keep going. Many do not appreciate.

So questioning whether most of the current members will pay or not remains to be answered! a legitimate question dear Habibh and m/s, I do not need to explain why, but it would be asked by VCs at the same time other startups would like to know and learn from.

however I believe if a small amount of them pay woopra might turn profitable soon take this example: if 5,000 members pay 5$ per month, then that is 500,000 USD in revenue per month.

another 2 feedback i am suggesting:
1- social media tracking is very important - specially for big brands- these days as a lot of traffic and conversation is taking place there, there r already a couple of web-based tracking websites. but it would be nice to have them all in one place. It would be great to have them also in realtime, i am not talking just tweets, but also mentions with no linkback, comments on that mention... conversation whereever it happens.

for example ArabCrunch was mentioned by Reuters during the Yahoo Maktoob deal, google alerts failed to deliver on time. note that i said before that woopr beats Google in realtime at this post:

http://arabcrunch.com/2009/04/woopra-beats-google-analytics-in-realtime-now-with-new-releases-10-invites.html

I only say someone is better if I think they are better however this would be my opinion, and as any other human being i am not error free :D that is only to God.

2- if my frnds at woopra would consider a lighter version of woopra desktop. since sometime you wana take a quick snap of what is happening and just see who is in ur websites right now. with out the need to look at all past data. that said but not to disable the current version too for the light woopra users..

Thanks everyone for your comments which will be always welcomed. :)

Comparing getclicky to woopra is like comparing Adidas to Abidos :) ... You rarely see a startup from the region competing and kicking ass globally, congrats for Woopra and wish them all the best ...
