I stress on Mohammad's question above regarding the intended Amman Office. And my question is how come we are forced to search in arabic layout even if we change the options a hundred times a day? Even the quality of search results has gone below acceptable or even rational. Google over the past few months has moved from my number one search engine to number 3.

Good luck with the interview gaith.

Ask Google:
1. What is Google strategy in the Middle East regarding Google Android?
2. When will Google offer Google Voice services in the Middle East?
3. Why Google did not open a Data Center in the region?
4. What Google plans for Google Chrome OS in the Middle East

Thanks

I second the question on Syria... particular on the SaaS front... but a couple of additional questions:

1- What sort of growth is Google Arabia seeing in PPC (SEM) marketing and usage of their DoubleClick ad network?

2- Following Yahoo's acquisition of Maktoob, what plans does Google have of strengthening it's position in Arabia. Can we expect to see some involvement to support local governments in pushing eGov... such as the recent support in Australia under the Google Public Sector program: http://bit.ly/m1EaB

3- Following the much publicised visit to Baghdad by Google, Twitter, Facebook and other US Tech firms... was their any tangible progress? has their been any follow up?

Well done on securing the interview..

1. At the risk of reverberating the obvious: When are access to resources going to be provided to Middle Eastern users from of Syria (not necessarily Syrian) be provided? And why is the entire IP range banned instead of just using Microsoft's technique by denying access to those who use Syria as the country of residence?
Admittedly we are getting everything we need using Proxy services that slow the process down. But this will significantly lower our enthusiasm for SaaS based products from Google since Syria, Iraq and Sudan are booming markets from which a large number of clients come from.

2. What kind of support if any, is Google focusing towards the regional Research & Development centers such as Universities in the region?
