Feedoor Moves to the Cloud. Prepares a New Version.
Feedoor, Jordan based Feed management service has moved its servers to Rack Space Cloud. Cloud Computing a set of pooled computing resources, delivered over the web, powered by software. The main benefit of cloud computing is that website owners do not have to spend a lot of money and resources in managing their own servers, in cloud computing they only pay for the resources they use, in a pay as you go bases. Another benefit is that websites hosted in the cloud can coupe with sudden increase in traffic since the service is very scalable.
Mahoumed Mehyar founder of Feedoor and MailPacks said “Now publishers and feed consumers can enjoy a very stable feed service.” He added “this is the first step in Feedoor expansion plan.” He hinted that in the coming weeks Feedoor is preparing to launch its next version with very new and exciting stuff.
RackspaceCloud competes with Google App Engine, Heroku and Azure.
