Conservus International on Red Herring 100 Europe 2009
United Arab Emirates (UAE) based Conservus International was recently announced winner of the Red Herring 100 Europe, an award given to the top 100 private technology companies based in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region each year.
Conservus design and develop digital targeted advertising medium known called MyConservus Portal, a service which highlights services available at a single location and provides advertisers with direct access to potential consumers while generating revenue from these advertisements.
As my MyConservus is currently available for the Hospitability industry and has been deployed in a couple of 5 Stars Hotels in UAE. Conservus is aiming to launch similar portals for the Enterprise, private communities and healthcare sector.
RedHerring is a media company that was established in 1993 and covers innovation, technology, financing and entrepreneurial activity. I used to read its magazine in the late 90s. The company went bust during the dotcom bubble burst and came back later few years ago.
Redherring also organize events and awards related to technology and startups at a global level. Its 100 Europe award focus on seven industry sectors including: Communications, Computing, Software, Internet/Services, Entertainment/Media, Security/Defense, Biosciences and Energy. Additionally, Red Herring gives more consideration to “early stage” firms
Since 1996 Red Herring 100 lists have valued as key for discovering and advocating the most promising private ventures. As many of today’s giants has been spotted early on by the list.
