ArabCrunch at the World Economic Forum on the Middle East, Dead Sea, Jordan
My pass was granted to the World Economic Forum (WEF) on the Middle East, just about an hour before it started, so I was not prepared. However I did 2 live video interviews which I will publish in the next post.
This year Forum’s theme is the ”implications of the Global Economic Crisis for the Middle East: Home-grown Strategies for Success.” We at ArabCrunch believe in a home grown Startup based Technology Industry that should be fostered in order to solve our long term problems when the oil dries out in the Arab region.
However, Tomorrow’s schedule is going to be busy, I will live stream exclusive video interviews with key global and regional decision makers in the ICT field using Qik, so stay tuned (follow me on twitter @3GFalcon @ArabCrunch for updates.)
Most of the day I was moving around meeting new people, I only saw H.M King Abdullah of Jordan’s special address from the sessions. I’ll try to cover some more sessions, tomorrow inshallah.
If you will be there tomorrow and the day after and want to meet me you can call me my mobile or @3gfalcon
