ZAAD a User Generated Directory and Search Engine for Palestine.

ZAAD  is a Palestinian Arabic/English user generated Local search engine. Currently maintains a database for Palestinian private sector and NGOs. ZAAD allows users to enter their information directly to the site and update it frequently.

According to Ibrahim Jabour from ZAAD, the website aims to build national databases for several sectors in Palestine.

When searching for something on Zaad, you get a brief of the matching results, but you can click more to get more details about the company or NGO at the same page in Ajax style. The details you can get include but not limited to: Detailed description , Establishing date , Website URL, mobile, and the Number of employees.

ZAAD is plans to monetize by offering text advertisements with a phone number or a hyperlink that appears next to a search results. 

Zaad is developed by Gaza based SADAF Technology Development.
