I can only see a dummy front page that links to an empty page. Am I missing something here?!

Hi Ammar, let me know what exactly are you seeing in that empty page? any background? what Flash version are you using? If you can send me a screenshot of what you are seeing on my email I would be able to help.

This really looks very well designed and developed… well done to the Fameego team. Not to put a damper on things, but I guess the success of this site will correlate directly to the network of people who use it… so it’ll be interesting to see how it takes off.

Also, anyone know what the name means or stands for? I originally read it as ‘Fame’ and ‘Ego’ together.. which I felt had a slight negative connotation… and might deter the less superficial of us. But maybe it stands for something else.. or nothing in particular?

Actually here you go… fameego secret..

Fameego comes from the actual core feature which is connecting family and friends in the same social network (Family + Amigo (Friends in Spanish) so then we combined both words and added the connected e’s to (instead of ‘i’) symbolize the bonding between both worlds, that’s why you see them back to back)

I agree with you it might look a combination of “Fame” and “Ego” but i think it should further clear as more users starting using it..

Ah thanks for that. Makes perfect sense… I definitely think you should make more hype about that, as it gives the site/app much more depth.

Anyway, very cool site.. all the best with it. I’m on it.. just need to make some friends 😉
