Symbian, WindowsCE, PalmOS, Windows Mobile... etc. so, i see that iphone is actually the one which tried to replicate things by making a new PDA OS, but they did it smartly with a nice interface that attracted users. never the less, i believe Windows Mobile is much more capable of acting like a mini-computer, as it's OS is more open, and more powerfull applications can be built on it! iphone is a nice looking mobile, with nice interface to act as a PDA. while windows mobile started more than 10 years ago as a dedicated PDA, then the mobile feature was added to it, so it is a PDA with mobile functionalities. till this point, Windows Mobile is more powerfull OS that lacks the cool interface that iphone has.. eventually, let's see what Microsoft is cooking up for WM6.5, and what Apple is doing with iphone3.0! i'm sticking with WM until i see iphone as a true mini-computer!
