Twitter unblocked by UAE ‘s Telco Etisalat.

Today is the Twitter day, as this is the second Twitter related news post.

Baher Al Hakim aka DrBaher, is a twitter daily user who is located in UAE , has tweeted today that Etisalat has unblocked twitter for its subscribers in UAE. Etisalat provides Land line, Mobile and Internet access in UAE and other countries.

According to DrBaher Etisalat blocked twitter previously because its free SMS notifications was competing with their SMS service, “here’s some good side-effects for disabling SMS notifications afterall…”

Etisalat has a reputation of blocking many International well known websites, they blocked StumbleUpon  last July but they unblock it later last month.

      I was worried about how will I tweet from the UAE once I go there for vacation. Well, guess it Etisalat solved that for now.

      But, I’m still worried that TweetSMS wont get such a beautiful reception from the Emarati telecom giant.
