Mashable Mentions ArabCrunch in a Post

Mashable Logo

A couple of days ago I wrote a breaking news story about the upcoming TweetSMS an SMS solution to the end of Twitter UK outbound SMS , and I sent @tweets to few people one of them was Mashable.

Adamo Strow Editor-in-Chief of Mashable replayed in few minutes, telling me nice scoop and that he linked me.

This mention and linking adds more credibility to ArabCrunch as a trusted source of Arab related Tech startup news, reviews and analysis to its readers in the Arab world, USA and beyond. (By the way around 45% of AC readers come from USA : ) making them the largest group of visitors.)

Mashable for those who do not know is one of the top ten most popular blogs worldwide. It ranks 2 after TechCrunch in web 2.0 category at Technorati. Mashable also has  its own Socialnetwork to connect its readers, and it organizes related offline events, all year long.

Mashable was started by Pete Cashmore from the his house, now a it has a full fledged team of full time and part time employees and contributors.

yes I was, though there were other mentioning to Arab bloggers, but it was to only those who faced extra ordinary circumstances such as the bloggers who went to jail for political reasons. Like Fahid from Saudi Arabia.
